Arriving in London

London is one of the world’s largest cities and is served by five main airports. While all of these airports provide good access to the city center, it’s essential to note that some, particularly those used by budget airlines, can be located quite far from the heart of London.

Before booking your flight, consider the location of your accommodation and choose the airport or station that will be most convenient for your journey. We recommend planning your transportation from the airport or station to your accommodation ahead of time to avoid potentially expensive or lengthy travel after you arrive.

Additionally, each airport offers different public transport options such as express trains, buses, and taxis. Familiarizing yourself with these choices in advance can help you select the most cost-effective and time-efficient route, ensuring a smoother start to your stay in London.

Travelling to the college

London is a highly connected city with one of the most efficient rail, bus, and road networks in the world. To ensure your journey in and around London is as smooth as possible, here’s some useful advice on navigating the city and traveling to our college.

The Tube:
London’s Underground system, known as the Tube, offers extensive coverage across the city. With multiple lines connecting different areas, you can quickly and easily access your campus from anywhere in London, as well as link up with train services to other parts of the UK.

Bus:
London’s bus network is equally comprehensive, with buses running frequently across the city. You’ll find numerous routes that can take you directly to your campus or nearby areas, ensuring convenient access no matter where you are.

Cycling and Walking:
For those who prefer a more active approach, cycling and walking are popular options in London. With plenty of bike lanes and pedestrian-friendly routes, getting around the city on foot or by bike is a great way to explore London while staying healthy.

Whether you choose the Tube, bus, or an active mode of travel, London’s transport network offers reliable and affordable options to ensure that your commute to and from college is both efficient and enjoyable.
